2015 Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir Magnum

Our deepest Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir, this wine is emblematic of a 2015 vintage that ended years of drought and featured a smaller crop load. A warmer August resulted in deep colored fruit and higher tannins. With a nose of cola, anise, and French oak and a palate of ripe cherry and spicy red fruits — this is a spicy expression of Santa Lucia Highlands terroir. Already demonstrating nice length, the finish should further develop in the years to come.
