2021 Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir
2021 was a back to normal vintage in the Santa Lucia Highlands after the difficult 2020 harvest which was dominated by wildfire smoke. Althought it was the fourth year in row of drought conditions, there was just enough rainfall in the winter to feed the vines throughout the growing season. We brought in the Peterson Pinot Noir on September 16, which is slightly earlier than average. The fragrant, spicy, SLH nose of the 2021 Peterson Pinot Noir opens up to reveal perfectly ripe fruit on the palate, with plenty of acidity and soft tannin. Enjoy this through 2032.
